Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO/SEM)

What you'll be doing:

• Create, launch, implement SEO & SEM strategies of Leadership Team
• Communicate data findings and tracking via ad-hoc reports
• Analyze traffic sources, metrics, and patterns both on desktop and mobile web properties to create test cases
• Use A/B testing and optimization tools to drive revenue, recommend the development of new landing pages, and recommend optimization and improvement ideas for current pages
• Monitor for algorithm and industry changes
• Monitor and analyze SEO & SEM sales trends for assigned traffic sources
• Execute on-page optimization strategies set forth by Executive Team
• Coordinate with the content, writing, and creative department to design assets for campaigns
• Execute display advertising tactics, including keyword research and expansion, ad creation, campaign performance tracking, and audience/placement analysis/recommendations
• Continually evaluate and improve the effectiveness of campaigns through bid management, keyword analysis, and geo-targeting
• Monitor and communicate performance on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
• Preparing website (technical) audits to identify areas of concern from an SEO perspective
• Reviewing website server logs, crawl reports, and analytics data to come up with strategies to improve indexation and organic growth
• Perform keyword research in coordination with SEO objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
• Prioritize and manage the implementation of all SEO related tasks
• Continue to learn and develop SEO skills from online resources

What you should have:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in online marketing, e-commerce, sales, or advertising
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field ( e.g., Marketing, Internet Marketing, Management Information System)
• Experience with UX/UI analysis and landing page optimization
• Experience with SEO and SEM campaigns (building, monitoring & optimizing)
• An understanding of basic website design
• WordPress CMS Experience
• Strong attention to detail and quality. We want someone who double-checks their work
• Strong analytical thinking and a questioning attitude
• Self-motivated and result-oriented
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work with tight and changing deadlines
• Self-starter and out-of-the-box thinker
• Ability to collaborate with others

What else we'd love:

• 3 - 5 years of website traffic and data metrics analysis is preferred
• Google Analytics and Ad Words Certified is a plus, but not required
• Data-driven performance optimization methodologies
• Advanced Excel knowledge
• Experience as Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist or a role doing various SEO tasks
• Experience with implementing a successful SEO strategy
• Basic knowledge of analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience using multiple CMS and managing basic VPS co-managed WP sites
